BREAKTHROUGH T1D
As a chapter, we have a very large value for Philanthropy. Delta Tau Delta's philanthropy is called Breakthrough T1D (Formerly JDRF).
Each year, we host 2 on campus events to help raise money toward Type 1 Diabetic research, in hopes to find treatments, and even a cure toward T1D. Every dollar is another one closer to a cure!
ANNUAL T1D WALK
Every November, as a chapter, we participate in a Breakthrough T1D Walk at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This is apart of our commitment to help find a cure for those who are affected by T1D.
DELT DOGS
"Delt Dogs" is our annual event in the spring, which is our main method of raising money toward T1D. Each year we host this event on campus at Moravian University, where our fellow classmates and family members attend to donate toward T1D research. Along with this, those who attend participate in games and raffles, help put together dog toys for local animal shelters, and bring their dogs! This event has been a huge success in recent years, after its creation by one of our own alumni,
Bryce Dunn (Class of 2024).
